The Idea

Rock the Autism is a California Non Profit Organization dedicated to bringing a lifetime of Music to those living with Autism. RTA will provide instruments and in home music lessons from paid professional musicians. RTA will provide Training to the musicians by licensed therapists.

The Specifics

RTA was founded by San Clemente/South OC Locals- David “Rocky” Neidhardt, Joey Santley, Matt Hamilton, Joshua Ben Paskowitz and Jackie Pollock.

Autism is the #1 medical issue affecting children today and yet it is on the bottom of the list for Research Funding.

RTA sees a growing need today and into the future for positive programs that include the special needs community- specifically programs to aid families living with autism- RTA wishes to fill this need Nation Wide by starting RTA chapters in every community across the country.
Funds from this challenge will go toward getting instruments for the kids we already have signed up through the Boys and Girls club of America.

My Daughter is 8 and loves music!! This program is amazing, everyone please vote for Rock The Autism! Not only for my daughter, but every other child with autism that could benefit from Music Therapy. I know in my daughters case that she has grown leaps and bounds do to her musical interaction!

This is a great cause, I love everyhting you guys are about!! I have two Step Children living with Autism, and their mother, my wife, just recently passed away. Our oldest loves to play drums and this program gives all of us hope for a better future. We can't wait to come Rock The Autism!!!
