Swings Tampa Bay [Spontaneous Community Building]

Now that voting has ended I'm taking the time to check out people's projects. I love how whimsical and interactive this Swing Project is. I also would like to post my regrets about the person who was trying to solicit votes for my project on your page. That was not endorsed or requested by anyone at the Military Art Car Project. We are stoked to be in the running with all projects. Thanks for what you do.

Wahooooo I want more swings!

Please excuse me for indulging you with my thoughts, here. I have been following this competition and have voted for the group I feel has the most important message to share. I like your idea very much, but, am asking your group to join me in supporting the Military Art Car Project. Can you imagine what it would take to put swings in Afghanistan or Iran? Or, what it has taken to make our land safe to enjoy an evening swinging away, here in our country. Thanks goes to those who have given us this chance! I can't imagine what the would be like without war. No one can. Swings could be everywhere? War can be a necessity and there is no doubt that we are free people as result. But, imagine a world without war? Imagine how the world could swing together, at the same time? An amazing thought? Without saying more, the Military Art Car Project is the first of it's kind and addresses a thought that reaches into the deepest levels of our human ability to understand war and peace. Love and hate. Something worth discussing while swinging away on a lovely evening with our loved ones. Imagine? Would our children thank us for creating peace on Earth? And giving all people a chance to swing along, with us, in happiness? Please join me in voting for the Military Art Car Project. Respectfully....

Tom, where I see what you are trying to say. War starts within ourselves. Countries are at war with us for many reasons, one being because they do not believe we stand up to what the definition of being an "American" is. I think your post makes valid points but I also think that we cannot make a world without war while we are still at war with our own. Let us make peace with each other. These boys are trying to show that we can have that, even if it just with a simple swing. War will not stop because people have too much pride and strive for more power. You're right the purpose of a comment section is to let the community share their thoughts and feelings, but you took what these boys have been working so far for and spit on it. In a sense you are creating a verbal war on this web page, when it's supposed to be forming together for a special cause. So next time you would like to post, try and be a little more respectful with the words you choose to share with everyone.
